A Message from the Saint John Local Immigration Partnership (SJLIP)

If you were born outside of Canada and now live in the Saint John Region, The Saint John Local Immigration Partnership (SJLIP) invites you to complete the 2026 Immigrant Survey April 27th and June 7th.

You can complete the survey here: www.newtosaintjohn.ca/immigrant-survey and we encourage you to share it with any family, friends, neighbours, or co-workers who were also born outside of Canada. We hope to hear from at least 500 people.

What you should know about the survey:

• The Immigrant Survey is a survey for immigrants, refugees, claimants, international students, temporary workers, and their families to share their experiences of living, working, and studying in the Saint John Region.

• The survey is estimated to take about 20 minutes. It is completely voluntary and anonymous. The survey is available online in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, and Filipino. Anyone who would prefer to complete the survey by phone or paper is invited to contact Kathryn Melvin at kathryn.melvin@envisionsaintjohn.com or by calling 1-506-658-2877 ext. 125.

What’s in it for you?

By filling out this survey, anyone who was born outside of Canada and now lives in the Saint John Region can:

• Inform community planning for how to better support immigrants and refugees.

• Share feedback with the member organizations of the Saint John Local Immigration Partnership to improve the ways they are working with newcomers.
