We’re sharing an upcoming opportunity from our community partners at Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency:


On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Envision Saint John will be hosting two free events at the Saint John Trade & Convention Centre focused on career development, networking, employment opportunities and community connection.


Event 1: Women's Career Connections September 16, 2026, 9:00 - 1:00

Empowering women to grow their careers through learning, community, and connection. Networking lunch included.


Women’s Career Connections is a half-day gathering designed to inspire, equip, and connect women who are ready to take the next step in their careers. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities, aiming for leadership, or looking to expand your professional network, this event brings together the insights, community, and momentum to help you move forward with confidence.


Join a community of driven women for a morning of engaging speakers, practical career conversations, and opportunities to connect with employers across industries. Following the sessions, enjoy a networking lunch to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and spark new possibilities.

This event is a collaboration between Envision Saint John: The Regional Growth Agency, Government of New Brunswick Women’s Equality Branch, YMCA Newcomer Connections, PRUDE Inc., and MAP Strategic Workforce Services.

Event 2: Welcoming Week Expo - Career Fair September 16, 2026, 12:00 - 3:00


The Welcoming Expo will bring together newcomers, employers, service providers, and community organizations to explore the programs, services, and opportunities available throughout our region. Combining a Community Connections Fair and Career Fair, the event will feature more than 50 exhibitors and provide a valuable opportunity to:


  • Connect with newcomers and other community members

  • Showcase services, programs, employment opportunities, or initiatives

  • Build relationships with community partners and potential collaborators

  • Increase awareness of supports and opportunities
