IMPORTANT NOTICE: Restrictions in Place

Please be advised that due to extremely dry conditions, the following restrictions are in place;

There is a burn ban in effect for the entire province. This means that no outdoor fires are permitted. This ban applies to both public and private property.

In addition, as of today, the province has closed all crown lands including provincial parks. As a result, the following activities are prohibited;

- hiking, camping, fishing and the use of vehicles in the woods are not permitted on crown lands

trail systems through woods are off limits

- camping is allowed only in designated campgrounds HOWEVER the public is being asked to reconsider their camping plans until such time the forest fire risk decreases.

- Private property owners are also asked to refrain from camping, hiking fishing or using vehicles on forested private property.
